It's been raining the past 2 days.
All that snow we had is gone.
And the energy I had along with it.
A chat early this morning with Steve Osborne.
We'd made plans to connect.
Sometimes you get a feeling about someone thru what they share.
And as you might imagine ( if you know me or Steve or both of us),
We got along like old friends -- my words, not his...
...so you'll have to check in with him to see if he feels the same.
Fingers crossed, he just might.
It inspired me to reach for my camera...
...on a day (and at a time) that I might not typically do so.
So along the trek to drop off the boys at school...
I made a frame or two.
On a dreary Friday.
When things weren't (and aren't) exactly clear.
On the outside.
On the inside.
And it brought a smile...
...and a little light
And I thought back to our conversation.
How I had mentioned the word collaboration.
And how this frame is one of sorts.
And I smiled again.
Happy we connected.
Thanks Steve!
The back door...
The back door.
Chaos.
Life.
Disorder.
Imperfectly perfect.
Depending upon the day,
What we see and feel can be heavy... ...or smile-worthy.
Signs that we were here.
One day we'll miss all of this...
Snow Day...
Slow down...
Cheers to the days when Mother Nature encourages us to slow down...
...and we listen.
Delivery boy...
Yesterday.
A half day of school.
We picked up donations.
Broke down some boxes.
Hauled them off to be recycled.
Together.
There's something about volunteering.
Working side-by-side with purpose.
The seeds it plants.
It delivers in more ways than one...
