These days right now...

What is it about shadows that are so mesmerizing? Is it their distortion of reality or the way they give things shape?

One thing is for sure...there's no hiding the fact that our kiddos are quickly reaching our ranks and there's something about these days right now in particular that I'm desperately trying to hold on to.

Walk amongst the rocks...

One of my favorite things to do when we're in Maine is to walk amongst the rocks...soaking in the various shapes, sizes and patterns. When I stumbled upon this little fella staring at me I called over to Liam to take a look. He smiled the biggest smile and said 'That's cool'. We kept exploring until the bugs got the better of us. That could have been all we did that day -- my heart was happy.
