We don't alway need to see eye to eye.
It’s funny how (and when) things show up...
I noticed the t-shirt (I hate people), smiled and said ‘Hey Mady, look.’
She noticed the address (58, my lucky number), smiled and said ‘Hey Dad, look.’

Home. Back in the work saddle. Two laptops sitting on the table in front of me. First cup of coffee within reach. Reality didn't knock, it barged right back in. At this stage of the game, I expected it. The door was actually left ajar. The sound of the sea is no more. Window air conditioning units are humming, as is the kitchen refrigerator...sending a light vibration across the floor. My crew is sleeping. Pups too. My mind feels partially engaged with all of it. Indifferent. Adrift. Lost without the tides outside our window. A sea of a completely different variety washing over me. I miss Maine.
