She is the foundation of our family.
The glue that keeps it all together.
She's never stopped kicking ass.

Today, after an almost 13 year hiatus, she's back to the corporate world.

While the kids slept, we shared coffee and light conversation.
I held back tears as I saw her off....
...and struggle to do so now as I share this.

These are bittersweet times...
...as we turn the page and move on to a new chapter for our family.
