All roads lead to Sea Basket...
One day while we were on vacation, Sara saw a post about a pop-in at The Lost Kitchen and we decided to make the trek to Freedom, ME the next day. We were super excited to soak in a place that we had admired from afar for quite some time.
That morning, we left with smiles on our faces and hunger in our bellies...alongside kiddos that weren't too thrilled about a place they knew little about.
About 30 minutes into the trip, we started chatting about how many people might show up. Sara made her way to the Lost Kitchen's Instagram page and noted the 119K followers. Not too long after...she continued with an 'Uh-Oh'.
It turns out the pop-up was the day before. There was an extended pause and some smiles (and I may have rolled my eyes). We laughed at our food adventure gone awry.
When the kids realized we were turning around there was an audible cheer....which grew even louder when we told them where we were headed next.
All roads lead to Sea Basket in Wiscasset.
